Journal reading room has its own entrance. The journal reading room has self-service hours in addition to the regular opening hours. During the self-service hours, there is no customer service available but you can read and borrow printed magazines and newspapers as well as read e-magazines and e-newspapers from the computer. Customers can get into the newspaper reading room during self service hours using their PIKI library card and four-digit PIN code. If you have forgotten your PIN code, you can visit library to get a new one.
Apart from the most current issues, all magazines are for loan. You can use the check-out unit to loan magazines. The loan period for magazines is two weeks. Newspapers are not loanable.
